Sinister: All Tomorrow's Parties

as the rumour bounds along grimly and the little children cry, remember 
nothing has officially been said - although sources say that it's pretty 
likely to be cancelled. Anybody know of any major bands willing to jump in 
at the last minute and save my much-needed break - no cause they're all 
rightly busy.
But to save these dashed hopes I've a plan - a few of us will no doubt have 
arranged our transport to at least london so lets have a huge sinister 
weekend...and hire out our own ocean theme bar..I can do a mean bonnie 
tyler, Joss can be Lee Hazelwood, paula and Scott can serve the booze, Nick, 
Tim, Mick and Mark can wow us with their 'Sandman' rendition like the one in 
Grease 2. Martin, Geoff, Matt, Maren, Natasha and Marcus can be the token 
instrumental set, complete with triangles and 101 sounds yamaha keyboards. 
Vincent and Jim are our own indie band djs - with a fine display of hats to 
keep us amused between records. Alasdair, Alan, Ailsa, Alex and Amos  are 
the Bananarama cover band cos there's five of them with names beginning with 
'a' and theres five 'a's in bananarama - lucky they didnt begin with * as we 
would be subjected to the foot tapping 'system addict', all evening. Paul 
will of course be 'garish in (a) pink' blazer.
David, Richard and Robin will be the gorgeous security who hand out free 
disposable cameras to the crowd. Erica, Jan, Giita and Pam can be the 
Shangrilas - singing '(remember) walking in the sand'...which we all 
can..sob.
Theres your list then of all who are going, or were, or are, well lets face 
it arent.
