Sinister: Gosh - some B&S content!!

True. I don't usually resort to talking about B&S, but when clearing
out my flat prior to moving house, I found and old Jeepster newsletter
thingie, and it answered the question I have been wrongly bugging
everyone about for ages.

Slow Graffiti *was* commissioned especially for the Acid House, so sorry
to everyone that told me that and I looked all stroppily at and swore to
that B&S would never sell their souls to the Man. Apparently they did.
Oops.

Just got some of my London photos back. Martin appears to be in nearly
all of them. No-one looks very drunk, especially not Drunken Matt.
Poor show, folks :) Admittedly these are just the early photos, the
film that I bought at 11pm has yet to be finished. I don't have a
scanner, so you are all saved the sight of them. Suffice to say Erica
looks glamorouser than should be legal, even when running away with her
hand over her face. And there's a picture of a "hamster dragster" that
was in the window of a pet shop in Camden Parkway. "For hamsters who
take a ride on the wild side", apparently. Which is nice.

I forgot when being gushy about everyone in my last post to say a
massive "thank you" to Alasdair "come oan" Cook for lending me lots of
money to come down to London in the first place.

Oh, and Owen, I have no objection at all to receiving list crush votes
from ugly fools like you. Not that that applies at all, you
understand. Foolish perhaps (how could you *not* look at Struan's winky
- really, you are a fool), but...

I think you London mob should all come up to Glasgow and come out with
us Scottish lot next time. Didn't Ally say you could all stay at his
house?

But be warned. He asked:

> Exactly how naked did I get?

and the answer is "very". We could see his bottom, you know.

Now for my obligatory ranty bit.

Erm, it's a very sad day when you judge people by what music they listen
to, how often they go to gigs, how much faith they place in music. I
realise that there are probably millions of reasons why this boy is a
tosser, but having a different taste/total lack of passion about music
is not a crime. Some of my best friends, and indeed my boyfriend,
listen to little or no music, and really don't care much about it. And
I think none the less of them, in fact I prefer that to people who won't
admit to liking the "wrong" kind of "uncool" music. Anyway this guy is
probably at a frat meeting with lots of similar people to himself (his
Sinister equivalent I s'pose) laughing at people like us for spending
all of our time at gigs/in record shops/listening to the radio and
whatever.

Sorry, I *always* do this, but I get sick fed up of people being so
bloody judgemental about what people look like, what music they listen
to, whether they look like Belle and Sebastian fans or not, etc etc.
And I've never judged a book by the way it looks, or by the music it
listens to (sorry, guess I'll have to leave the Sinister novel to Archel
as I can't do metaphors), and I don't like people who do so. But what
the hell do I know, eh?
