hello listees,

i'm not sure if i should consider this an 'introductory' message...over a
year ago i used to be quite the active sinister member...had my list crushes
and all that (they shall still remain nameless)...i've even met a bunch of
you in 'rl' though i am not sure if any of you lovelies are still
subscribing...well if you remember stasia, crazy new york city girl..say
hello, here i am...especially you mark c. if you have stuck around...and a
special 'hiya' to honey 'honeydoll' paul, lovely as ever to let me out of
the nursery, thank you again! :)

anyway, i think i may have explained it before, many moons ago and not that
anyone remembers or cares...but i was forced to unsubscribe from sinister
due to the evil, evil corporate bitch publicists with whom i was working. a
year later, i broke free from big business, joined the world of the dot-com,
and now that i am getting paid to chat online all day i thought i'd pay a
visit to you darling biscuit-nibblers. much, much has happened in a year
and i have many fascinating stories which will most likely pop up time and
again in my posts to you all...

...though not right now. the only thing i have to say is, i am obsessed
with napster and if it is banned from cyberspace i am going to start a
polite riot. um, or something like that.

and yes i saw 'high fidelity' and (belle and sebastian content, yippee!) was
quite pleased that 'seymour stein' was included AND discussed (though not
referred to by name). though i was a bit disappointed that another b+s song
wasn't chosen. yet i suppose 'seymour stein' makes the point quite bluntly,
doesn't it? other thoughts on the film: i hated laura in the book and i
hated her even more on screen. why is rob so in love with this woman? she
had no personality on paper and it was very disappointing to see her as even
less of a woman in the 'flesh.' blecky blecky. plus the actress who played
her had REALLY bad hair. i'm just sayin'.

oh one more thing...to the listee coldcolours...i do not know you but for
murphy's sake...there is only one big mouth, ayyyyy ohhhh! nice to see
another person who appreciates the ROCK as well as the TWEE. yeah.

so hello...and goodbye, for now.

stasia xx
