Hi,
I went out yesterday, to a club in the city. It's a synthclub where they play, you know synth music. I really like synth music, well some synth music. I like instrumental synth music like Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and Tangerine Dream. I also like regular electronic music like Underworld, Orbital, Orb etc.
I didn't hear much of either yesterday. They just played a lot of dark, heavy synth-rock (very often with German lyrics odd enough). Didn't like it too much. Also the mood was kind of dark, not very positivism you might want when going out on a Friday night. Not to mention the clothes :-)

Anyway, I went there with some of my friends and the problem was this: I don't drink.
Please don't think that I'm a dull, extremely tidy person with no sense of fun. I'm not, at least I definitely hope not. I'm just of that opinion that you must be able to have fun without drinking alcohol. I think that if I'm drunk I'm not me, so I think that I have to get drunk to have fun I don't have much self respect. I don't want to be such a person.
I don't judge any person who drink, so please don't write angry replies to this. I just wanted to tell you my opinion.

Don't really know the meaning of writing the above, maybe just that I find you guys (a impression that I've got anyway) to be intellectual and nice so that you might understand me... Am I a sad person? :-(

Anyway, it doesn't seem to be a very easy mission if you want to go out to a club and listen to Belle & Sebastian kind of music. At least not where I live. That's a bit strange, I think B&S's music is dancable.

BTW, know where to get a preview listening to "legal man"??

Have a nice day.

///Alexander
