Nik, you were wondering about a salako song that sounds as though it came
from a commodore 64 game...well, resisting the urge to name all of the many,
many salako songs obviously influenced by video game music, i'll mention
only the one i believe you're thinking of- "go ahead then, enlighten me why
dontcha!" which is on a single from 1998. absolutely grate song. it's the
sound of an early hip-hop dj locked in his room with only his records, a
reverb pedal, and a speak n' spell. awe-inspiring.

p.s. wow, Stevie's in portland??? well, at least Mick says he is. maybe i
should start driving around randomly, hoping to get lucky and run into him.
well, not literally.
