you know, being mentioned on the list has been the highlight of my summer 
(that and doing cartwheels on a dusty balcony 4 floors up in the middle of 
the night in athens, greece) and all i had to do was sit around a smokey 
club till 3am. not that hard, really.

but enough about me, let's talk about...me!

no. ok, anyhow i've been instructed to finally put out official/unofficial 
word of an impending club night i am half reponsible for (but not at all 
repsonsible for if it's a bust) which will be taking place in the hogtown. 
is that what toronto's called: "hogtown"? i think i remember it being called 
that. but why hogs? i don't remember eating anymore bacon growing up then 
any other canadians. remember bacon? bacon was good, eh?

i wonder how many degrees of separation kevin bacon is from actual bacon.

but what was i talking about? oh yes, the night will be titled "how fucking 
romantic". that being taken from a magnetic fields song...well, you guessed 
it you cunning little bastards...it's a stephin merrit night! no, i'm not 
joking. it shall taketh place on  the 13th of october at the rancho relaxo. 
all the good dancy songs by the MF and future bible heroes and any other 
crap we decide to play in between. and it's going to be when the weather 
will be getting nice and cold. no, wait, it's cold now. i had to wake up in 
the middle of the night to put on socks! socks! maybe it will be like august 
in october. oh, and it's my last weekend of being a teenager too! so tell 
your friends, tell your gramma, but don't tell your uncle henry because i 
heard he's sort of a jerk.
