My wife was born in a country with a fascist government too. It doesn't seem
to have affected her much though. In fact I think I out-fascist her on every
score. As the man who put the SS in "Lassie", I'm proud that Steven "Fat
Arse" Wells chose to associate us with "My Dog Skippy". Aunt Sally always
wanted to
go to America, but Worzel Gummidge was having none of it. I'm firmly in the
Worzel camp.

I've met Worzel. How's that for mental groupie-ism? He couldn't give
autographs because "I've got twigs" he said.

Yes, Rod Stewart was a bit of a proto-Oasis in his social habits, but I
prefer to judge him on his music alone, which is often like a cross between
Nick Drake and Noddy Holder.
