Sinister: they're still(er) the one!

Okay, for once I think staying in on a Saturday night *may* have been
worth it.

So just to let everyone on the list who is either not in the US, or who
has a social life to speak of: B&S music was used (for quite some time)
in a Saturday Night Live segment tonight. It was played in the
background during a bar scene just prior to a scintillating bit
featuring Ben Stiller et al cavorting in sundry homosexual acts. But
there it was! Vocals and all! And though no one else in #sinister seemed
to hear it, I was sure I heard someone say "great album" after the music
was played.

It wasn't like they band were mentioned, or that the whole song was
used, but there definitely is something exhilirating about hearing B&S
on as widely a watched show as SNL. I wonder who had a hand in picking
the music for the show...was host Alan Cumming making a subtle show of
support for his fellow countrymen?

off to calm down after all that excitement,
Amanda
