Sinister: Birthday Greetings and my worthless diatribes

Hi all,

I try not to post as often as I can, but there are
certain moments that you just can not avoid.  Even
though Laura Llew beat me to the punch, I must wish a
happy birthday to the wonderful Marie Elia. For those
of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Dear
Marie, she is a lurvely girl and a kind and marvellous
soul. 

Now that that is out of the way, a little about me (as
if you cared.) I think I have been suffering from that
winter depression people talk about, compounded by the
fact that I have spent the majority of the last 72
hours either sleeping or looking at a computer screen.
However, with spring right around the corner and a
bevy of shows coming up (starting with Kids in the
Hall on Saturday) I think I am going to break out of
it.

I think I have hit a low in my Belle and Sebastian
fandom lately.  I will occasionally throw a song on a
mixed tape or two for driving, but I can't bring
myself to listen to a recording. Hopefully, I'll break
out of it soon, but it feels like the sort of thing
where I won't get excited until the new LP is out.

*sigh* Why did they have to add an extra day to
February?
