On 21 Feb 00, at 21:58, GardeningAtNight at aol.com muttered into a little tape recorder:

> February of 74 I think. Which is a shame because those are some of my

are those... damn creepy? one of my favorites, though, is "know"...
the rawness of the lyrics, how perfectly they describe nick... and
the guitar, which freaks you out almost as much because of its
buzzing... and you -know- that nick is a brilliant guitar player, and
never lets a string buzz... it's sort of like he's saying, "this it
the inside of my brain. it's a buzzy place." ... god, i love him.

i was in some record stores today, and god-almighty, i saw some b+s
eps... didn't buy them though, seeing as i don't have a record
player. i wanted to buy some sebadoh/folk implosion, because i've
heard their GRATE, but i had already bought some dan bern and seeing
as i had some international pop on the way from insound i didn't want
to blow my wad.

i also bought a GRATE huge copy of the prophet by kahlil gibran,
because i lost my old one. yah the strand, haven for pretentious
intellectuals with very little money! to keep up this reputation, i
bought some kerouac too.

how come no one took me up on my kissing booth offer?
