Although I don't like to slag off other people's music on a regular basis I
just have to say that the 6 hours I spent at God's Kithchen, a club in
Birmingham, were soul destroying on account of the music.
Bang bang bang bang it went for 6 hours, The only tune i recognised was an
old prodigy tune that stood out because it was more or less the only one
which had lyrics the entire time i was there. All of my friends loved it
though I suspect that this was heavily related to the fact they were all on
Ecstacy and were off their faces. It seems to me that if you need to consume
class A drugs to enjoy the music, there i ssomething wrong.
saturday night was much better: tompaulin at the Roadhouse. Considering it
was their 5th ever gig it was really really good. I also interviewed the
band beforehand and they were reallly nice.
And I didn't need to take lots of drugs or even alcohol to enjoy it.
Bonus!

Paul
p.s. I got a list crush vote. i was almost stunned into silence until I
realised I wasn't speaking so was therefore already in a state of silence
