Your Slip Is Showing's show is slipping. And it's only just started.
Those are not my support hose at all. Close observation reveals the
price ticket to be in DOLLARS. Which can only mean one thing. They
belong to Reid Dossinger.

I yearn for the days when people thought I was Paul. Nowadays I get
treated like a homophobic pornfreak in support hose. The fact that Mr
and Mrs David didn't like "American Beauty" can only be a good sign. I
enjoyed it. I also enjoyed "East is East". It provokes nostalgia for a
better time, when streets were full of bouncing spacehoppers.

Rough Guide to Rock wrote something about Gang of Four's funk-rock
template being adopted by everyone from Talking Heads to The Pop
Group. And presumably Funkadelic and The Bar-Kays and Jimi Hendrix and
Rufus Thomas, only backwards in time. To name but four. I don't think
you can really give The Gang of Four all the credit for that one.
Does "martial funk" mean the same as "leaden-booted funk"?
