Sinister: why is throbbing gristle considered inappropriate in disco?

hello folks,

hey, does anyone know anything about the flintstone comedy show?
it was on bbc2 at about half past seven in the morning in the
weeks before christmas, but now seems to have been replaced by tom
and jerry.

anyway, it was a shit early seventies flintstones spin off featuring
adolescent pebbles and bam bam in a band called the bedrock rockers.
the rest of the programme was dire, but the bedrock rockers are now
one of my favourite bands - any information about who actually sang
the bedrock rockers' songs would be gratefully received, but please
mail me directly.

before the willennium youn said of string bean jean:

i had a think about that, and i believe that phil is a girl.  why?
because struan always refers to boys by their full name, and to girls
by a shortened name.  it's true, just look at this list:

sebastian, anthony, michael, belle, jenny, jo, judy, lisa.

see?  and don't go trying to think of other examples to prove me
wrong because quibbling just doesn't suit you.

i seem to have bought the new hydroplace cd twice.  i don't know
how, but i have.  i may now attempt to play both cds at once in an
ill advised experiment in quardrophonics.  i'd tell you just how
good the cd is, but you'd probably get the wrong idea and think i
was trying to sell you my spare copy.

beck?  bah, it was pretty obvious that he'd sold out when the photos
of posh and beck's wedding were sold exclusively to hello magazine.

i must say i'm looking forward to the release of "commando squirrel",
i hope it'll have that instrumental one the gentle waves played live,
and maybe even the isobel cover of "kinky love" too.

i am also looking forward to the subsequent opportunity to buy the
essential "gentle waves cardboard sleeve" into which the two cds will
nestle nicely.  that'll probably be followed by the opportunity to buy
an official "b&s side project plastic bag" into which both gentle waves
and looper releases can be placed together.  lovely.

mark, is it moe tucker?

is there anyone in the south of england who wants a couple of kittens?
a friend is moving house and can no longer keep them, i can email a
picture to anyone who might be interested - sorry for the blatant list
