Sinister: You'll have had your tea then?

Free at last. Someone should really clean that nursery, it hasn't been done
since I was here last time.
I've just got time to sneak in my first post while the boss is out.

It looks as if I've missed most of the general prodding and poking of
Forever Chang... err Fold Your Hands... but here's my 2p's worth anyway.

Beyond the Sunrise is NOT crap; neither is it a B&S song. It's a GW song
which would sound better on IC's new LP. I reckon it sounds more like Lee
Hazelwood than Scott Walker though.

Best bit 1: Woman's Realm, mainly for the tune which is the most
heart-stoppingly emotional since DDNo2 and for the verse:

I don't care cause I'm by myself
All the dancers left but I can't dance
So I will stay and clean the mess they left behind
But I dream as I set to scrub all the floors, the walls
I'm thinking of a song or two, a boy a girl a rendezvous

Which reduces me to bramble seedless every time I hear it - and at my age
too.

Best bit 2: Waiting for the Moon to Rise, which I can't get out of my head.
More Sarah songs please.

It's all pretty damn fine as far as I'm concerned. Unlike some of you
malcontented bairns I like the big strings, although I prefer zips and kids
too (couldn't eat a whole one though)*. If anything, there are too many
sound alikes on FISHYHANDS. I hope they're not straying from influenced by
into the realms of Love cover band. Much as I love it There's Too Much Love
does remind me of the theme to the BBC's showjumping coverage. Oh and the
piano break in Nice Day for a Sulk - Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band.

Anyway, must go. If there are any sinstreans in York, the bloke in the daft
hat slouching home down Monkgate at ten to seven is me, all offers of
chocolate milk will be accepted.

Martin

*Certainly not a coat zip anyway they're just too long.
