'lo all, my first post, and, well, ill just get to the heart of it

Vicki- James Dean Driving Experience
i bought a compilation from el records a few months ago that has "Sean
Connery" from JDDE on it. The one song sounds pretty good, hmm cant think of
an example... maybe "Smiths-ish"? No not even, sort of catchy though, and by
far the best on the album. Please, DO NOT buy an el record w/o hearing it
first, b/c the rest of the tracks on the comp "Bellissimo!" are horrid and
terrible and all around unpleasant (the Would-Be-Goods and the Kings of
Luxembourg are particularly distressing to experience). I dropped 18 on this
import cd on blind faith and the thought of it still makes me cringe. oh
well, not to be too judgemental or anything, it is a b-sides album... sorry
enough drivel,

modernlove
i put "Precise Modern Lovers Order" back in my CD carry case and have again
fallen in love. Very rough, varying recording quality, but one of the best
live albums ever.
b&s
the other day was hot, humid and just nasty here in Wash DC, but Stars of
Track n Field led me to this image of running really fast and productively,
which made my own sweat and discomfort a bit more bearable.
yes, yes im sorry this is a weak, barely B&S-related email, but i wanted to
reply about the JDDE
take care all
Colin
