well, well, well a gorilla on TOTP, that couldn't have happened since ooh, I
don't know, the one who played guitar for Wizzard** on "See my baby jive".
I'll miss it I'm afraid, since I'm off to Reading to see my friend Ian.
He's a meteorologist, but don't you ever, ever call him a weatherman! He
put his webpage into German and back again on Alta Vista babelfish, which is
good for a laugh.

OK, a very small one. A smirk then.

We're going to a Thai restaurant, which is something I've never done before.
Maybe it'll be a bit like Indonesian, which is fabulous I can tell you. Or
at least the one I went to in Amsterdam was. Well, I thought I'd be going
to Niagara on Monday 12th, but it looks like it's going to be Tuesday
instead because Stereolab are playing in Toronto on the Monday and I can't
risk not getting back to Toronto in time. Trust Ms Sadier and co to go and
mess up my plans. Tsk.

Do you think if B&S *hadn't* decided to mime then the other acts would have
come up to them shame-faced and apologise for having mimed? The way Human
League and U2 did when New Order were on in the 80s?*

Incidentally, if anyone knows of an internet cafe in Toronto where I can
check my Hotmail, please let me know. Cheers.
Mark.
