Sinister: Fall reference by B&S met with excitement

and David Gedge at least once a month from my stereo sings:
orange slices and a Fall lp...

Can the person who told us about trochaic triameter (?) tell us about the
rhythm of this line?  (And the B & S line, too, but I don't have the new
album yet so I can't tell you what it is ... I suppose one line won't hurt
although I steadfastly resisted reading the lyrics to "The Chalet Lines".)
I always thought it was a weird choice for the line above cos I think of
the girl he's writing about as girlish, if seductive, only naively so,
etc.
