Does anyone else get their mails bounced back to them from one particular

something?

Every time I post to Sinister I get a message back from a
machine saying that my they haven't received my post because of potentially
offensive contents
It's me isn't it? Does it say "gloscat.ac.uk" in it? I bet it does. Rest
assured I do get all of your e-mails (and read every one of them), but
apparently there is a log kept of mails sent to me (and everyone else in the
college) with rude words in, although what i can do about people sending
sweary e-mails i don't know...
Anyway VAST apols to you all if you're getting these and I'm being made
redundant in nine weeks time (this is a *good* thing, by the way) so it'll
stop after that :)
Keeping on the swearing theme, if you look at the MTV chat transcript, Mick
mentions a documentary he'd been watching, but it is written as do***entary,
a similar thing happens with scunthorpe...
On the "not releasing singles off albums" theme, we seem to have pretty much
drawn a blank, although as Kevan Cooke pointed out to me, "the state that i
am in" was on both single and album. Good work, pedantic fellow :) I only
mentioned it as it seems to have become almost an article of faith with the
band, not to be questioned, yet I can't quite work out why they would stick
to it so religiously, especially as they seem to have moved away from four
song eps towards three trackers for chart eligibility purposes. I don't
have like a serious problem with it, I'm just curious.
And those of you who mentioned Led Zep, they don't count cos they didn't
release singles *at all* and I don't really think percy and co. are a big
influence on the band somehow :)
*steve imagines struan, stevie and chris talking about red snappers
<shudder>
well, i think i'll leave you with that thought :)
