...was the headline on Saturday's Gloucestershire Echo and referred not to
everyone's favourite 82 year old maiden aunt but to a dog. But it made me
smile so i thought i'd share :)

WEIRD DREAM OF THE WEEK

OK so i'm looking at all the cds my mother has bought for a party and some
of them are quite hip (well, hip for my mum anyway), but one of them is a
REMIX of the FLORAL DANCE by terry wogan and then Tezza himself turns up and
starts singing it and it's like a hard techno version but i can't really
hear it, and tezza is smiling and i'm sure there was a remix done by pulp on
the cd too, then i woke up...

GLASTONBURY

is only two days away and i'm DEADDEADDEAD excited although i am slightly
wary that we'll all die of sunstroke rather than trench foot.

Anyone who is coming but who isn't on siniglasto (
http://www.egroups.com/group/siniglasto which now boasts a whole dozen
members) there is to be a fantastic Sinister Glasto meet-up (no, really
there is). It is FRIDAY afternoon about 4.30pm at the MEDICAL CENTRE near
the FARMHOUSE. Please bring an inflatable object of your choice.

PICNICS

It's good to see summer picnics proliferating across the country and indeed
the globe. I will endeavour to get to Primrose Hill, have to see how the
finances are holding up. Unfortunately my sister is coming to see me the
weekend of the Sheffield one cos it would have been nice to go to that one
and meet midlandy type people. Oh POO, the London one's going to be the
15th as well now POO POO POO, curse the greco-scottish alliance :) Wonder
if my sister fancies a daytrip to London.....

GRATE BIG TENT

Radioheed are using a GRATE BIG TENT to do their gigs in this summer. Maybe
a certain other band could borrow it after they've finished with it, tidy it
up a bit, cut it in half and use it for their gigs, on the off chance that
they actually get round to BLIMMING WELL DOING SOME. On the bright side,
hopefully they won't announce the dates until i've got my redundancy money,
then i can do silly things like go to Nude York to see them.

OXFORD

Speaking of redundancy, plans move ever forward for a move to Oxford, to the
point where I've actually got some application forms to fill in for jobs in
Oxford and have some numbers to ring up for some more, WOW, we might get
there for christmas yet...

HEADINGS

seemed the most appropriate way to say "bye, trous" Has anyone else notice
Jo Brooker in goal for Holland? (I think it was holland anyway, all these
football matches are blurring into one now, all I seemed to do last week was
watch football and this life)

Applying the factor 40
