Fellow list-ees,
I find my self feeling utterly helpless.
I could really use some advise, or others opinions.
I have a friend who is 28 he is about 6 years older than me.
>From what I can see I think he is going to take his life soon.
He has already started to give away all of his possessions, including his
music collection this is horribly disturbing.
I don't know what to do.
I don't believe that any one should have control over others lives I believe
that it should be any ones right to off them selves if they so decide to.
But I can't sit back and remain passive. I guess I am being selfish. I don't
want to loose his friendship.
But I'm not related to him, I can't have him committed-and I don't think it
would keep him from killing himself when he was released.
I can try to call his family-but I know his relationship with them is not to
great-and I have never met them.
Then there is his ex girlfriend but I have never met her, It would be
awkward and im not sure it would help.
what im most afraid of is my trying to get him help and him finding out and
killing him self sooner.
I could really use some advise. I can already see the blood on my hands....
I stayed up with him all night I left around 5am because I had to leave for
work at 530am.
-because of this I am not going to the sonic youth show tonight.
If there is some one in the wash, Arlington, falls church area who wants a
ticket and has transportation to skyline mall mail me and you can have it.
I am disappointed that I will miss Kim and thurston but some things are more
important.
please any advise would be appreciated.
im sorry to post just to ask for some thing.
Thank you,
Alix.
