Hi folks,
Talking about hot stuff (or at least one person was), I was at
Elliott Smith at the Glasgow Garage last night, and by jove i must say it
was one of the hottest concerts i have been to. Temperature-wise that is. I
even had to remove my mittens! And Elliott still didn't take his damn hat
off! Music-wise very good as well. I know more Elliott Smith songs than I
realise. Was anybody else there? I'm sorry I missed you if you were...

Caroline - i am glad to see that somebody else recognises Electronic
Renaissance as the splendid song that it is - I see it attitude-wise as one
of the most important songs along with The State I am In. Funnily enough I
often listen to it before I go out on a Saturday nite.
I think it is strange that Get Me Away.. was thought of so highly - maybe I
should really listen to it again. Actually I really like Beyond the Sunrise.
I am a trad country fan though. Should I really be on this list? I should
end here...

Oh yeah,
go and see Wheat at the 13th note or nearest venue!!

Rafe!
