some lovely people answered my last mail!

thanks, lovely people.

if any of you cats are going to the picnic in sheffield, can I recommed that
you get a number 95 bus to Walkley? And you get off just past the big bend
after the hill? And you go to the bakers on Howard Road? Because it is the
best bakers in the world. Their vanilla slices are so good it makes me...
um...cry...

Today, i was walking home, listening to FYH, and I was singing with gusto. I
was singing along to "There's Too Much Love", and being all operatic at the
"brown formica" line. And as I got into the cul de sac, lots of little kids
emerged from behind hedges.

So i said: "Alright lads?" I was secretly hoping that they hadn't hear me
sing...

"What are you singing?" they said, as if I'm some sort of community care
case, you know, like to be humoured and stuff...

i tried to act cool, "I'm singing some pop songs, you know...."

"Is it Tom Jones?"

I shook my fist at them at that point, in the pesky-kids-Scooby-Doo style,
but I was thinking about it later on...

Do B&S sound like Tom Jones? Do I sound like Tom Jones? And i got to thinking
about Tom Jones' song Sex Bomb, and I imagined it as a nail bomb, you know,
going off in a crowded place and everyone being showered with... um... pants
and stuff... and I felt a little queasy...

Incidentally, we kicked serious ass at he pop quiz tonight. My posse, Bridie
Bunch, ran away with the £25 prize, flicking V-signs to anyone who came
close. Pride's a sin, I know, but, well...

WE KICKED ASS!!!!

love

mouche
