Sinister: Minutes of the meeting of Up-Sinister Parish Council 29/2/2000.

Meeting 29/2/00. Present : Councillor Evans.

1) Councillor Evans agreed that the ancient by-law banning the consumption of alcohol and Jaffa Cakes on the villiage green during the lunchtime showing of Neighbours was in fact a good idea and has been reinstated following the decision by Councillor Evans at the meeting of Up-Sinister Parish Council on 31/1/00 that this was in fact "Complete Cack".

2) Councillor Evans approved the plans of Chief Engineer & Transport Officer, Adrian Evans that the Sinister Bypass Expressway should be built "right through the middle of" Up-Sinister.  This required the demolition of Miller Cottage and the Dastoor Gazette buildings, and also the concreting over of the village green thus removing the need for the implementation of the Non-alcohol/Jaffa Cake prohibition type thing as laid out in item number 1.  Councillor Evans (New Edition Party) defended an attack from Councillor Evans (New Order Party)that these plans were insane and would completely destroy local tourism by agreeing plans for a new train station to be situated on the plot of land presently occupied by the "Fox in the Snow" Public House and the Up-Sinister Post Office.

3) After viewing his Triumph Acclaim being clamped in the up-Sinister Parish Council car park, Councillor Evans decided cars were in fact "gay" and that the money set aside for the Expressway should be used to fund a second, bigger train station to be located at the present home of Up-Sinister AFC (The Ups), The Relegation Ground and to cover the cost of lunch at the recently closed (pending demolition) "Fox in the Snow".

4) After careful deliberation, all parties agreed that Steps were in fact, better than Belle and Sebastian and would do them in a fight no-probs following the departure of hard-man Stuart David to concentrate on concentrating.

5) At 12:15pm the meeting was adjourned for lunch to be reconvened at 4pm.
