Sinister: naughties?

  sorry, i just remembered something i wanted to ask - in the future 
(or indeed now) what will this decade (and the next) be referred to 
as.
  i mean the last decade was the nineties, preceded by the eighties 
etc, so what is this one? best contribution came from my flatmate's 
dad who said the noughties, but is there actually an official term. 
just thought one of you might know.
