What a top day!

	Finally we know the name of the new album. The most 
striking thing about it, I think, is its notable omissions. The 
Loneliness..., Lord Anthony, Paper Boat, Landslide etc. It sounds 
like we're due for a very good e.p. , or two. The cover is ace too, and 
it is YELLOW and looking at the jeepster site there are going to be 
sleevenotes too which is GRATE! The first person to work out what 
book the girls are holding gets a gold star. By the way, does anyone 
know what book Lazy Line Painter Jane has, on her e.p.? It looks 
like a textbook or something.
	I met a chap today, at a Socialist Worker talk about Austria, 
who was Austrian. He was very nice and we walked off for a cup of 
tea and talked for a while about how Socialist Workers are too 
extremist and counter-productive and stuff like that. We were talking 
about how being reasonable is much better and I mentioned Belle 
and Sebastian and Stuart M and, bizarrely he'd heard of them and 
was a big fan. So I'm quite chuffed about this and about my new 
Austrian friend in general because he was very nice and when the 
weather gets better he's going to come to a picnic with us. ACE!
	Then we said goodbye and walked off up different staircases, 
but ended up meeting at the top, which was rather embarassing.
