Hello sinistereens!!
sorry for my so far consistant abuse of this list, but if anyone lives in
the pittsburgh area and wanted to come and see me play, i will be at the
Bloomfield Bridge Tavern, tomorrow night at around 9:00. You'll know me
because I will be the youngest person there.
I will also be playing at the 31t Street pub with Kitty Pryde on thursday.
Um, just so I know, does anyone live in the pittsburgh area?
I guess if no one says yes I will no longer post this sort of message on
here, as it would just be absolutely worthless.
Ummm, just to be a little b+s oriented, I wanted to reply to the question of
our parents liking b+s. I gave my mom IYAFS for christmas this year and she
loves it. my dad liked it too, but wouldn't admit it. I know he did b/c he
always has pretty good taste and he didn't make a yucky face. For example,
when I was a wee little boy of 3 years old, sitting in his office on the
floor playing with his chess pieces, he would always play the cars and the
velvet underground and the talking heads and blondie and stuff like that. i
didn't know of course that this was so fab then, but now i see that my
frumpy, philosopher dad is a way cool 55 year old hipster.
umm, enough props for my dad now i guess. i was just thinking bout him
because he has a book coming out and i am very very proud (you philosophers
out there should look for it, it will be called "deconstruction as analytic
philosophy" by Sam Wheeler (that's right, i have a number after my name))
okay, this time i mean it, no more dad.
ummm, oh! i am very upset because i just found that i lost my kaia cd
somewhere between NYC and here. now i have to buy it again and that just
doesn't seems fair. doesn't it seem like you should get the second copy free
and the n maybe if you lose that you should have to pay? grr. I have a
policy of only buying a cd three times, if i lose it after that, it wasn't
meant to be.
okay,
I have to run off to get some coffee, so keep the love lines open and i hope
all of your days are lovely today, though it is a bit cloudy here.
love,
sam
