well, fingerpicking isn't so hard. i can sort of play a bluesy-type 
riff now on E with a neat-o hammer-on, and a little bit i added 
myself at the end.. not bad if i say so myself, and something to 
practice rythm with. my mom says i'm gifted, but of course she would. 
noah says that fingerpicking is useless and that you can't do very 
much with it, but he's a punk rocker, and only knows three chords 
anyway, so what's the matter with him i ask you?

so here's a great thread: indie-pop conventions! not like big groups 
of popstars, but common threads linking indie-pop together. they're 
fun to play with, you know... things like:

* handclaps
* cardigans
* being sad because you don't have the nerve to talk to the girl you 
fancy who works at the bookstore
* organs
* courderoys

... can you folks think of any others? try hard... think of how fun 
it will be to annoy honey with another never ending thread!
