Hellooooo, 

A lot of this post is basically a week or so¹s worth of peanut gallery
comments about what all you have said. So if you remember what you or
other¹s have said, consider yourself commented. 

Before I begin, A big hug to anyone who needs one. And happy birthday if
it¹s yours. 

The 1st thing I have to say is that my report on Splash was a requested,
unfounded, sexual rumour.  He, to my knowledge, has not engaged in any of
these things. Just making sure no-one is clueless about this.   

Anyone figured out how to get tickets for the Flaming Lips Looper show in
Baltimore?

I¹d never heard Nick Drake until the VW commercial. I thought though, this
is cool, it sounds like that Scottish band I like. I wonder what it is?

Bitch session: I received my badges from mail-order yesterday. I put them on
the button area of my bag, walked down the stairs and across the street to
my car...and the button part fell of the 3...6...9...seconds of light
button.  It¹s nowhere to be found.  I had it pinned on less than 5 minutes.
Grrr.

Ok, call me a traitor; but this ³twee² business is getting annoying. I like
twee, I like beer, just not that much at once. And...to make this pertinent:
Belle & Sebastian¹s music is much more than twee.  Ok, flame me for
this...It¹s like the Cure¹s mailing list Babble, (which I am on as well), 
when the subject of Robert¹s hair is the main thread. Ok...I know it¹s not
the main thread.  

And another thing: I might as well continue to aggravate folks while I have
the chance. (sarcasm implied in the previous comment). Please stop judgeing
the album on the basis of it¹s titles. And please stop hoping that t doesn¹t
suck.  I think it goes without saying that we all hope it doesn¹t suck. Ok?
Go ahead...flame on!

Alan Warner¹s ³These Demented Lands²(FABulous book)...Belle & Sebastian¹s
line ²Knife on a bike chain²...the man in the book who sharpens knives on a
leather strap on his bike chain...Could the song be derived from the
book?...I haven¹t even checked the dates on the book vs. the dates on the
song. 

Jason Luther, to answer your question; I lost my virginity with no music
going. Now I feel so vulnerable after revealing my secret. Jason, have many
responded to this?

To answer someone else¹s question; I know about John Peel; many fanatical
U.S. music fans know about him just cos of the peel sessions.  

Regarding Gardeningatnight¹/samantha¹s manmeat stu d comment, I think
Scotland has the highest per capita hotties of any nation. and don¹t bust my
balls on geography. Ok, the latent adolescent girl has just escaped. NB: I
am definitely not an adolescent girl. I¹m 25 but still a she.

Spacemen Pants & Fish pie: I know metaphorically where Stu M has been here.
Ever gone into the grocery store and realised that you¹re dressed really
insane. Or Another thing: you fellow art students will relate to this: Ever
left the studio to go to say...lunch...postoffice...shopping or any other
public space with your goggles or dustmasks on your head? I have done this
more times than I can remember. 

Regarding what someone said: 
I too like white boys with guitars.
I also like hiphop and rap.
I also like chicks with guitars.
I like nearly any rock and roll with violins or cellos
