        yet again i forgot to put the clock forward...

i do it every year...i think i enjoy being out of sync with everyone else...
its how i feel most of the time anyway...

      epic?!? monumental...

spacemen 3 ..."starship"...loop..."rocket usa"...god 
machine..."purity"...those are more apt descriptions of epic or 
monumental...i never ever thought of mbv as epic or monumental...mbv were 
very much pioneers of sound...they weren't afraid to experiment...there 
influence can be seen in bands as diverse as " mogwai " and   "death in 
vegas"...for me the most important thing they did was the weatherall remix of 
"soon"...that was in 1990...today it still sounds as fresh as it always 
did...they were very ahead of their time...

     i have done the unthinkable

in a mixture of boredom...and not being able to sleep...i have done the 
unthinkable...after many years of having my cds & vinyl in no apparent 
order...i've only gone and put everything in alphabetical order...i kind of 
perversely enjoyed it...i've always resisted doing it...but last night was a 
strange night...i was sat down  ( got a sore foot...i'm not too mobile at the 
moment) & i decided to change things...i moved furniture around...it was a 
slow process due to the sore foot...but slowly but surely things started to 
take shape...if only it was as simple to transform my life!...

     and this weeks highest new entry ...& 1 week later...        and down to 
29...

    i'm very much looking forward to the new b&s record...& kind of looking 
forward to seeing them on TOTP'S...because they will go scorching into the 
charts when we all go out and buy it on its day of release...and then the 
following week...they'll go scorching out of the charts...takes me back to 
the days of the smiths...
