BEGINNING***

It has been a while indeed. Since last time I posted I'm 16 which is nice I spose, and I'll soon be finishing my school term to do my GCSE exams (^^yay^^).

oo oo oo it's sinister picnic time again. Or if you're me moaning about how you're mum won't let you go to sinister picnic time again*. I've come up with a shockingly devious plan that's so shocking that the more twee of you may find it difficult to comprehend how devious it is, and should thus look away now...

YOURE JUST A BABY BABY GIRL

You're Just a Baby has just come round on my hi-fi. Was someone saying this wasn't such a good song? Don't be silly now, this song ROCKS. The lyrics might sound a bit cheesy but I really like them actually, I really like that about B&S lyrics... they often sound tacky but at least they mean something. Here'ssomething else vaguely B&S related - hopefully I've got my facts right, but think about this: May 1998, two interesting events occur in the P!O!P! world, Geri Haliwell leaves the Spice Girls, and Mick Cooke joins Belle and Sebastian.. hmm, come to think of it.. you may have seen Mick Cooke and you may have seen Geri Haliwell, but have you ever seen Mick Cooke and Geri Haliwell *together*?

UNIFORMS

Sinister uniforms seem to be the hot topic at the mo.. I had an idea for a t-shirt design - we could do one of those montage things.. that's where you get a big picture made up lots of small pictures like you get on some posters and on those BT ads where it zooms out from the lots of different people and you see this picture of ET. Anyway you could do that from all those millions of pictures mummy has and make them show a fox or something (maybe a bit more imaginative than that) and that would look nifty I think. Of course we would make the girls versions extra tight and the boys need only wear theirs in bad weather to satisfy Pookie and Velocity. Maybe we could have a posh sinister uniform as well for when we want to look special when the Queen is presenting us all with our knighthoods for being so fantastic.

GUILDFORD FESTIVAL

Another thing I wanted to talk to you about today is the GUILDFORD FESTIVAL. I thought since people set up those siniglasto and sinireading egroups that I would set up another little egroup for and sinistereens who might be coming to GUILDFORD this year:

It's a GRATE little festival in sunny Surrey here in my home town. This year the headliners are Idlewild, Motorhead, Van Morrison and Joan Armatrading... I also spied the fantastic Gorky's on the list (tbc.. fingers crossed). Anyway, it's not really about music, it's about sitting outside in the sun and having a laugh.
