Dearest Sinistereeny darlings,
shame i missed all the twee picnics, it's a bitch
being out in the sticks.
It's lovely to see the 'selling out' problems have
died out...hopefully faced with bright anticipation of
legal day!
Here tney come, 7 days of condensed thoughts packed
into one juicy little opal fruit (such a nice name,
why did they change it?)
- Mondo '77?  excellent.  Love it, but it sounds like
they went into a studio and started jamming!  However,
i keep loving it more and more each time i hear it...
- Geometrid - great album, but 'uncle ray' pisses me
off chronically
- lollipops - 10p is too expensive when you're on 20 a
day...are ciggies worse than lollipops?
- why does it never thunder & lightning when you're
out for a long walk? bugger.
- people are now pissed off with my excitement over
B&S (8 days! then 22 days!) Looper (gig @ bristol!!!),
Pilton (7 weeks!!!!), edinburgh festival (19-23rd
August!!!) then reading (23-28th!!!!) aaagh!!!!!!!
- Gomez EP sounds remarkably unoriginal...time they
broke out the kazoos...
- Eurovision song contest is a fantastic show...if
only to hear terry wogan whinge!
- 2000 Troubled Teenagers sounds too good to be
true...and i'm missing it...bum.
Sorry.
Also, how many people have heard of a band called
'polarbear'?  It was snow patrol's first incarnation;
they released 'starfighter pilot' on ehr back in '97.
Are the cd's rare, cos i picked up 2 in weston this
week...bit surreal...stuart murdoch guest stars on
track 3!
B&S content - um...the bowlie 'leg i got is
incredible; their impending uk tour is too exciting (i
get images of a sell-out wembley!); FISHYCLAP is an
excellent way to abbreviate it!
