the new grandaddy album is by far the best i've heard this year. although,
i should admit that i haven't bought that many albums but still it's quite
good. i know this is short notice but if you live in the nyc area, grandaddy
is playing tonight at the mercury lounge. after that, they're leaving for
the other side of the pond. there are still tickets left for tonight's show
so you should check them out if you're free. if anyone spots me, come say hi
and i'll buy a round. i'll be the asian guy wearing a purple sweater.
also, i know there are at least a few elliot smith fans out there. he's
playing the 17th through the 19th. i have tix for friday which is sold out
but last i checked, tomorrow and thursday are still open.
mostly harmless,
david
