Hi all:
I am emerging from my lurking to tell you about a fun show that's happening in Seattle this Friday night, May 19th. It will feature performances by The I Live The Life Of A Movie Star Secret Hideout (a fine combo from Portland, very much in the vein of early K Records), Suretoss (Chris McFarlane of Jigsaw Records -- Eric's Trip meets Wolfie meets Boyracer), and Automat (er, that's my new project). Before the show and in between bands, we will be playing _Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like A Peasant_ through the PA, so if you haven't scored an advance copy or a tape dub, this is your big chance to hear the new B&S CD!
The show is at the very suggestively-titled Honeyhole Sandwiches at 703 E. Pike St. Doors open at 7:30, music starts at 8, admission is very reasonable, all ages are admitted, and you'll be able to make it to the Mary Timony show at the I-Spy later that night with time to spare. I hope to see some of you...
xo mike
