Sinister: Pray For A Flood?

Hi Squirrels,

Its a Gentle Waves* release day, so I'll surprise Peter by mentioning them,
even though I haven't had time to listen to the album yet. Its longer than
the last one & I actually like Falling From Grace already, which wouldn't
sound out of place on FYHC,YWLAP. Perhaps its the harpsichord, but probably
its the bass-playing & string arrangement that does it :)

Nice to see that everyone has been very Genteel recently by stopping short
of repeating Don Pedro's Genital Warts tag.

Bum! Except for me it would seem.

Jeepster Records International still put cards in their products saying of
their web-site/news mailing list: "We send out news messages the moment we
have them, and it remains the fastest way to hear the news." Hmmm. Is that
statement still true? Surely you can hear what's going on much more quickly
via the band's own site, nme.com, or more ironic still, Marketing Week.

UK-centric bit, sorry. Very Merry Penguin Martin Robinson tells me
Sodastream are playing an additional date at the Betsey Trotwood on the 18th
of November (after the Borders in-store) so be there or be square. I've been
re-listening to their oeuvre this week and its a treasure, sounding even
better after a little break.

There should be more than this, but I'm going to read the Select article
(page 68, magazine rack browsers) again first.

Love,

Minun nimeni on David, ja asun Essexissä
