Ahh, yes, Don't Leave The Light On was the Liz and Max Music Of Despair for
the evening.  But!  It was quickly followed by Apples In Stereo's "Shine A
Light" which, although played in a recent JC Penney ad I'd much rather hear
than fucking Fatboy Slim or whatever shite they pick as this year's
advertising-snippet-song-of-the-year.  AND! As the car full of aliens
careened off to New York one could also hear the dulcet tones of Papas
Fritas "What Am I Supposed To Do".  Who died and left some angsty indie kid
to pick the background music for Roswell?  I LOVE THE WB!!!
On an auction note, I see that none other than Stuart Murdoch has purchased
my squeaky roommate!  Whatever will he do with her?
