Sinister: familiar smells

It was a quiet day in Sinisterland when some of the inhabitants started to
notice a strange smell in the air. Some of the newer members were puzzled
by this but the older members were more so, they recognised the smell from
somewhere but just couldn't place it. Then some bright young chap said "I
know what it is, it's cinnamon."

Some of those who heard him agreed and it was soon decided that such a
smell could mean only one thing, The Narrow Wizard was back. 

"Is that bad?" asked one newer Sinisterine but he was answered with cries
of "No, no" and one particularly humourous person replied with a
giggle "Only if you're a pretty girl"

And then the smell became stronger and a figure appeared as if by magic,
and the figure was thin and a bit funny looking. And then the narrow
wizard spoke unto the sinister

"Awright you lot, I'm back at uni for a Masters and so thought I'd see how
you were all doing, besides I needed to inspect the new members. Speak to
you all soon OK"

with that the narrow wizard disappeared in a flash of blue flame leaving
behind only a faint smell of cinnamon.
