wow, what a lot of things i have to talk about today, i think it may
time for a post with headings (hurrah, i hear you say):

*The Duke*
I didn't know The Duke had made a book with bits of the list in the
back.  There I was happily browsing the "pop" section in Borders when I
came across it (not like that, you smutty person), nestled between The
Virgin Big book of RAWK and Simon Price's Autobiography, or some old tat
anyway.  I didn't buy it at the time, but i think i may go and do so in
a minute.

*80s children TV*
no comment, at all, oh no, that's right out

*Posh Styoodents*
Went to Ms Daplyn's exciting bond related birthday party on saturday,
which was fun, but the posh styooodents were a bit intimidating
(excepting those of this parish, of course ;)) for a commoner like
meself

*Painting Competition*
The entries have been flooding in like one of those mega-tsunami things
on the telly last week, ie about one every 150 years.  I hearby declare
that the closing date shall be FRIDAY, so get your smocks and berets out
and get on with it

*Louis Theroux*
is the bollox, obviously, and apparently when interviewed in the
Grauniad the other week said his favourite band were, hey, Belle and
Sebastian.  I remember when we used to get all this kind of news hot off
the wordprocessors...
