Helloooooo popkids.
i was tempted to send in another missive today with the sole intention of
plonking myself firmly in Digest No.300 (yay!), but realised that would be a
bit tragic. So, i have a very specific reason for posting. Oh yes. Very
specific.
Ummmmm......

Hold on. Something will come to me in a minute.
(sigh)

AHHHHHAAAA!!! Yes, this christmas carol malarkey - wot a pile of toss. Which
one are they doing again? Something with 'Come' in the title wasn't it?
Dearie dearie me. Should have done Silent Night in honour of their touring
schedule. Well, either way, I'm disappointed. you're an intermittently
wonderful songwriter Stu m'lad so there's no need to cover some mad
Christian propaganda song. I think it's duty to step into his velvet
slippers and come up with a sinister carol( i knew a sinister carol once, i
think she's a hairdresser now). Base it on the true spirit of Xmas, i.e.
drinking, eating, partying, inappropriate fumblings and Jimmy Stewart. And
let's keep it vaguely content based so we don't get a Millbankian slap on
our collective limp wrist.
So, if you're up to the challenge submit a verse or two, and try to fit it
to the tune of a well known, extant carol. That way we can force Carsmiles
to sing it and he won't be able to excuse himself for not knowing the tune.
(Not that it would stop him anyway).

tata 4 now.
