Hey kids.

***LINER NOTES***
Wow ... I've just finished the booklet to "69 Love songs". I love bookelts
that accompany CDs. Good liner notes are a beautiful thing, and were on of
the initial reasons I fell in love with Belle & Sebastian. My favourite
liner notes are those in the the two Postcard Records Orange Juice
compilations - "The Heather's on Fire" and "Ostrich Churchyard". They make
you so enthuiastic. But back to Stephin erritt. I believe he is a genuis. I
can't stop lapping up his music. I got "Memories of Love" by Future Bible
heroes the other day ... and have the new EP and the Gothic Archies EP in
the mail as I write this. Can't get enough ......

***CAREER SATISFACTION***
I have a new job. I colour in pictures. It's great ... I get really good
money to draw stuff, and then animate it for a children's educational
website. Fun fun fun. (Although also hard hard hard!)Still, it's nice waking
up not feeling cruched by worthlessness because you can't get a decent job.
I've been seriously underemplyed for ages, and was bloody sick of it.

***SODASTREAM***
Love the new album. Really love it. Not as immediate as the "Practical
Footware EP" but worth the effort. Did any Australian listees happen to tape
the on air thing they did a few nights ago. If so .... CAN I PLEASE HAVE A
COPY? I'm desperate and have HEAPSof good stuff to trade in return. Whilst
on the Sodastream thread, anyone know where I can get a copy of the "Enjoy
EP"? Anyone want to sell me theirs for a princely sum?

I am excited because I just tracked down copies of Coldplay's "Brothers and
Sisters" single, and also "The Blue Room EP" I'm quite surprised at how much
I like Coldplay ... they're much better than I thought they would be, having
had them described to me but not actually having heard them for along time.

***SPRING - IT'S A CROCK***
It's currently getting light about 5:20am, and I have a window in my room,
and even with two thick curtains it's like daylight at thsat time, and the
birds outside go made and I don't get any sleep after 5am. So I am ALWAYS
tired. I want mid-winter back!

Feeeling pretty uninspired, so will shut up now. Hope all is well, whereever
you are. I'm going to bed. (Yes, astute readers ... it is 10:10pm on a
SATURDAY night and I am off to bed. (Lame-o!) Mty girlfriend is on call at
the hospital and I am very very tired.)

Sleep well ......
