O.K.  It's apparent that I was quite misunderstood when I harshly criticized 
rap in my last post.  First of all, I wasn't talking about all rap, just what 
seems popular at the moment. I am a fan of the beastie boys and Run D.M.C. 
Rap that didn't take itself so seriously.

Maybe I take the loudest and most obnoxious message because thats the only 
one I hear. Whenever I hear rap on the radio, It's always about the same 
things that I mentioned before.

Resevoir Dogs doesn't glorify anything. It's a story, not some guy saying "I 
got da Muthaf----- gat for niggas don't know how ta act" Thats a direct quote 
from a Nas song. And, in the movie everyone dies anyway. (sorry to ruin it) 
The reference to Resevoir Dogs was a joke inspired by a comic book (Squee!)

Did Thom Yorke do 10 years for armed robbery? Does Stu M. have multiple rape 
counts on his record?  Do I have to worry about Billy Corgan shooting Eddie 
Vedder? (I know not all rappers are criminals)

Just one thing to remember before I'm crucified and no one likes me anymore, 
these are the opinions of a boy surrounded by white suburbanites that think 
they live in the ghetto.
