Who had "69 Love Songs" first? Why do poeple laugh at Magnetic Fields gigs?
Why have some people stopped liking B&S? Just who is the 5 o'clock hero?
These and other questions are answered in an article provocatively entitled
"The Magnetic Fields vs Belle and Sebastian" on the consistently excellent
Tangents website:
http://www.tangents.co.uk
It's a bit of a swizz, because there's only one paragraph about B&S before
the writer gets his tongue right up the entire MF troupe's collective
backside, but some of you might like it. Some of you might even agree with
it. I think it's atrocious. What do you think? It's a debate.

I look forward to Stuart's rectorial campaign. Keep us posted. Is he an
independent? What's he for? What's he against? Is he going to have a public
debate with Alisdair Gray?

Hefner for Agriculture and Fisheries Minister!

Peter
