Sinister: anarchy in the usa

  nothing cures a hangover like a bean burrito and battlebots.  
yesterday i was doomed from the start, anyway.  rugby matches and 
free redbull and somehow i found myself at summerfest, pissed and 
surrounded by quasi-hippies bopping about to the big wu.  there were 
balloons and bubbles floating around and a girl blowing glitter at 
everyone, and after a time it was sort of scary so i hid in a tree.  
 from the tree, i could see there was a boy in the soundbooth who 
looked like sid vicious, and i was giggling about it so cherry ran 
over and told him and i think he was offended.  he said "he was an 
ugly, ugly man" and forced a laugh.  but if you don't want people 
telling you that you look like sid vicious, don't look like sid 
vicious.  we were going to drink with the band after the show and 
cherry invited sid, just to be nice.  he said he was "on too many 
drugs already," which was a bit creepy of him so i'm glad he decided 
to go home instead.
  after that someone wanted to go have a look at everclear and i felt 
badly about sid, so i went along and there gobs of sweaty noisy kids 
eating fried cheese and pogo-ing around, and i wanted to go back to 
the big wu but by the time we got there the show was over.  
  i wish i had belle and sebastian gigs to post about.  i think i am 
going back to the uk within the year.
