Sinister: i love the bus

it's bloody hot as hell outside. i'm at my parents' house, and
today i braved the heat and went out to a little wood nearby to draw
trees and write songs. it was funny being there again. i can
remember cindy and i, twiggy little barefoot girls concocting magical
summertime potions of berries and swampmud, or boldy embarking on 45-
minute survival expeditions. i also remember years later when i,
overcome with teenage angst, would storm out of the house and spend
hours in a little clearing smoking cigarettes and jumping in mud
puddles. it was quite therapeutic.
speaking of which, i only recently turned twenty, and the day
before my birthday some boys reminded me that i was spending my last
day as a teenager, and therefore my years of true "teenage angst"
were nearly past. i panicked and tried to scowl for the rest of the
day, but it was exhausting and then i got drunk and all was lost.
anyway, i plan on retaining some of my angst til i'm well into my
eighties, thank you very much. i want to be eighty years old
speeding around on my electric wheelchair, giving em all hell. not
for awhile, though.
  love kirsten
ps---looking at lovely RAH photos makes me cry because i missed it by
less than twelve hours but i keep looking anyway. mwah
