Sinister: living in a glass house

  the july heat has made me very lazy and unable to do anything 
except eat sherbet and watch spongebob.  i have gone back to working 
at viktor viktoria, where we traditionally have offered a vast 
selection of vintage cardigans, rainbow brite t-shirts and a wall of 
corduroy.  for now, however, it seems we have slipped into an intense 
summertime mode that makes the shop look eerily like an episode of 
TRL.  scary shiny sparkles everywhere and pants that look like they 
were designed by a team of care bears operating under the close 
supervision of david bowie.  i have been trying to balance things out 
by wearing all black to work, which certainly does naught to make the 
heat more bearable.  now it seems there is nothing left to do but sit 
on my hands and wait for autumn.  oh yes, and try to find my way out 
to the west coast for a gig. time to take my baby sister to buy junk 
food for her slumber party.  hugs
