i don't know if anyone on this list might be interested in this but
anyway . . . .
there will be a day of action, offering alternatives to voting
happening in manchester tomorrow (thursday).
there will be free food given away outside some of our favourite
multinationals, street theatre ranging from mock fights between
people dressed up as tony hague & william blair :-P and a butoh
walk (a strange japanese form of movement, where you are dressed
all in white & move VERY VERY slowly, it sprang up after the
hiroshima bombs, and was a response to how numb people felt -
somewhat how i feel about the choice of politicians), a critical
mass (where lots & lots of people (hopefully!) cycle along main
roads as a protest against the traffic) leading to a state funeral -
a piece of street theatre mourning the passing of democracy.
finally a huge noise demo outside a currently secret location.
so if you are around manchester & are free, come down! it will be
a fun & exciting day!

if you wear something sinister i'll find you & say hello!
