When I was alone
Spike and Mary came along and helped me up
They said I should search for my light inside
so I got my shit, simply left my wife
and wandered the streets in pursue of true happiness
which, OK, I'm yet to find

I saw hip queers walking around with rich johns
and I saw hip whores sucking the johns of rich johns
on their way to see their immediate johns on Wall Street
to suck on THEIR ding dongs.
I also saw Waldo as he painted the walls white
with Harry jerking off in the gready moonlight
And there she was,
Georgie boy getting pouring sumetin' red on the sidewalk.

Yeah, the sidewalks
I used to sit on the sidewalks
and look around for hardbodies
while whining about being overcooked by the sun
My bald surface constantly constipated
by the harsh climate which made my angry,
so I turned on my insticts
and in the ground I laid
I used the little I had left
to consult Mary and Spike again.

Mary told me my head was fucked up
and Spike said my eyes weren't open
no, not nearly enough
conflictant opinions which drove me to the edge
as I stood on the bridge and grasped for less
less than enough to make me turn back
and as my kid saw me there
and cursed my sorry guts
I realized what fucking little I had
and it only made me feel worse

I then decided to die, but as Lou sang
he made me realize
that I too could achieve Kingdom Come
So I went to Spike, alone
and once there I could glance
see happiness
waiting as he made his big entrance.

"It will be here anytime now...
