Sinister: Early in the morning, just as day is dawning.

Aha. good morning young sinister people.
Ooh I haven't posted for ages, this is very exciting, hello to the 5
people who vaguely remember seeing my name somewhere before.

*Peel Session*
Well first, this Peel Session. Sorry. I know everyones talking about it
(like eastenders... ooh i can't believe ashley died. ahem.) but i wanted
to say a couple of things. Firstly i'm fairly sure the lyric is
'bowling' and not 'pulling'. I don't think thats really Stuarts style is
it? Or maybe it is now, he seems to be changing his style quite a bit..
hmm... Also, i'm so surprised no-one has pointed out the similarity
between 'the magic of a kind word' and 'rhoda'. Go on, listen to them
both and tell me i'm wrong. Well actually, don't. That might upset me.
Finally, my tape ran out half way through miraculous technique and the
bluddy thing turned itself over, like they tend to, but i missed a good
13 seconds, which is very annoying. grr... and its the only mp3 i
couldn't find on t'internet. (this whole paragraph is hypothetical of
course, i would never tape off the radio or look for illegal mp3s in
real life.... no no no).

*New stuff vs. Old Stuff*
I'm ultra excited about going to see 'em at birmingham now though, the
new stuff is all so great. Well actually, i say that, and it is nice to
listen to, but i agree with whoever it was (sorry, my pooters going
really slow and i can't start up netscape to find who it was; i would
normally) who said that none of the stuff since arab strap has really
had the same sort of sound and effect on you as sinister did... not
really sure how to describe it... miraculous technique and carriage
clock are the two recent ones that i really love but its not like...
erm... the same... sorry. does anyone have any idea what i'm on about?

*Postman Pat*
Roight, anyways, the title of my email is from postman pat as many of
you will have noticed... and there is a reason for it... ooh yes.
everyone who has the field mice compilation cd thingy, go and get it,
open your cd player, take out jonathan david, put in the orange cd and
skip to track number 10 (indian ocean)... ok now fast forward to about
3:20 and listen to it until it fades out. Doesn't it sound exactly like
the music that they used to play on postman pat when he was driving his
van around the hills? it does definately. i realised yesterday... i had
it on in the background whilst attempting to revise for my hinduism exam
which i still haven't had yet (grr... everyones finished their exams
apart from me)... and i immediately thought 'oh my god its postman pat'
but it wasn't. ahem.

*Jonathan David*
Lots of people have said they wish this was played on the radio more as
it could have done really well. I think its going to do really well
anyway... i mean, come on, legal man, the worst possible song to
release, got to number 15 didn't it? Besides it has been played quite a
lot... mark and lard have been playing it loads.... i was at my friends
house and it came on and i shouted very loud and turned the volume
really loud and everyone in the house thought i was being murdered or
something. but my friend said he liked it which made me sort of happy...
seeing as he tends to like sort of popular stuff like travis and
coldplay and all that... or maybe thats a bad thing that he liked it
actually...

Ok i'm just rambling now
Nice to be back and all that
I'm going to carry on revising now.
Any hindus on the list?
John.
