Sinister: She's got a ticket to RAH, and she don't care.

Well actually she hasn't and she does. I have, but I still do of course.
My non-sinister friend didn't mention this till yesterday, and I know its a
very long shot, but if anyone is trying to off-load a RAH ticket please give
me a yell.
My mobile's 07946 622 678, and no krank calls!
And speaking of tickets I've got one going spare for The Strokes/Moldy
Peaches/MHS in Sheffield tonight if anyone's interested? I know it's short
notice. (Same number).
Right enough list abuse, I do have some genuine content...
Did nobody else see the JD review in last week's Guardian Guide? (Not
today's) they gave it a real slagging. Not my favourite tune either, but it
didn't deserve that!
On the Peel Session the day after the B&S one he said they were going to
repeat the B&S session soon, and details will be put on the web, good news
for all those like me who missed it.
I just noticed yesterday that one of the consultants at work is called David
Jonathan. That made me chuckle to myself from my cupboard and the others
were scared for they knew not why I chuckleth.
I've seen a lot of foxes lately. Mostly coming home late at night. Did
anyone else hear about the family of foxes they've found living under one of
the platforms at Paddington?
And PF used the phrase "put his head over the parapet" which is how I opened
one of my recent posts... I'm quite in awe of PF's posts, so for him to use
the same phrase as me was an honour, though I'm sure he arrived at it quite
independently.
PF also mentioned James Joyce (I think). I think Joyce might have
originated the 'ink polaroid' - he's even done one about getting the
supplies in for a sinister picnic:
"She got out of her tram and feretted her way quickly among the crowds. She
went in to Downes's cake shop but the shop was so full of people that it was
a long time before she could get herself attended to. She bought a dozen of
mixed penny cakes, and at last came out of the shop laden with a big bag.
Then she thought what else would she buy: she wanted to buy something really
nice. They were sure to have plenty of apples and nuts. It was hard to
know what to buy and all she could think of was cake. She decided to buy
some plum cake, but Downes's plum cake had not enough almond icing on top of
it, so she went over to a shop in Henry Street. Here she was a long time in
suiting herself, and the stylish young lady behid the counter, who was
evidently a little annoyed by her, asked her was it a wedding cake she
wanted to buy. That made Maria blush and smile at the young lady; but the
young lady took it all very seriously and finally cut a thick slice of
plumcake, parcelled it up and said:
"Two and four, please."
Ahh.
