Sinister: Spare some lyrics?

Hello

I write songs. I try to convince people around me into writing lyrics which I can make songs of, though I hardly ever manage to persuade anyone. So I got the brilliant idea to ask you lot...
Does anyone have some unused lyrics or poems that suitable for making a song out of?
I think the result could be quite interesting.
