Sinister: I have seen the loneliness of a middle distance runner

Hi kids. Before i go on and praise B&S for including middle distance on
their next ep it seems i have been "gently chided" for my use of unevocative
prose in the description of Hefner, the 13th note and camera obscura so um,
im sorry.I did mention that the 13th note was excellent and that by scary i
meant dank and atmospheric.

Camera Obscura, in my drunken state, did sound like B&S not a hugely like
them but there was a resemblance, not in that they were scottish but because
they sounded very much the "twee" band.

The more i think of it the more it could have been Struan there. He did seem
pretty shy, and when a small chant of Stuart was started he did seem pretty
amused, so perhaps it was him after all.

Now onto B&S. I'm absolutely delighted that they're releasing Middle
Distance, i've never actually heard it live but i did manage to download it
from www.belleandsebastian at freeserve.co.uk and it sounded really amazing. I
rate it much higher than Paper Boat which is also pretty amazing.

Has anyone heard Poupee di cire, poupee de son? I heard it on some bootleg
of a french concert and it scared me to my very bones, in a good way.
Isobelle sang it in perfect French and then apologised if her french was
bad. If anyone has heard it and can e-mail me a translation i'd be chuffed.

Peace, Love, Empathy
                     Danny xxxxxxx
